From May 22 to November 1, 2026, Palazzo delle Papesse in Siena will host the exhibition “Living the Renaissance. Domestic Furnishings in Siena from the 15th Century to the Mannerist Era.” Through more than eighty works, the exhibition documents the prolific production of domestic art that developed in Siena between the 15th and 16th centuries. Furnishings such as chests, headboards, beds, headboards, textiles, and ornaments will be the focus of a journey that aims to convey the richness and variety of a figurative culture dedicated to the adornment of living spaces.
